Medical Conditions - White Hair

The human body has numerous hair follicles lining the skin. It produces melanin. On aging, hair follicles lose their pigment and result in white hair. The causes of having white hair at a young age are genetics, stress, autoimmune disorder, thyroid disease, vitamin B12 deficiency, and smoking. It is stopped by taking an increased amount of vitamin B12 supplements, vitamin B5 supplements, antioxidants, and protecting hair from ultraviolet radiation.
