What can cause balance issues and headache in a person taking medications for hypothyroidism?

Hello doctor,

I was diagnosed with vitamin D and vitamin B12 deficiencies a year ago and have been taking supplements for these deficiencies. Recently, I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism, with a level of 10.6 mIU/mL. Some of my other symptoms have improved over time. However, I am experiencing balance issues while standing, sitting, and sometimes even while sleeping. I feel like I might fall down, and there is a sensation of being pulled in different directions. I also experience a swaying sensation in my head, and my headaches range from mild to severe and vary in intensity. I feel excessive heat in my body and have complete intolerance to heat. Although my body pain has reduced significantly, I am still struggling with these symptoms. Currently, I am taking vitamin D and multivitamins supplements, and thyroid medication. I seek your help in regaining my normal life.

Kindly help.

Is frequent wrist twisting in a 7-month-old baby concerning?

Hi doctor,

My baby is 7 months old. He keeps on twisting his wrist (left arm) all the time. Whenever he is excited, angry, crying or if he wants to reach out for anything or just focusing. His development is on track. He makes great eye contact. He plays, laughs, tries to imitate sounds, sits on his own and turn both sides. He has two teeth. He is active and in good health. It is just the wrist twist or twirl that is bugging me. He does not seem to be bothered when I hold his hand or if I stop him. If he is occupied with a toy, he does not do the twirl. If he holds my finger, he will open and close his hand. Am I worrying unnecessarily? Should I look it up or just wait on him to outgrow it?

What causes mild fever, sensitivity to light, and headaches?

Hello doctor,

My husband is 43 years old, and he refuses to visit a doctor. He used to suffer from joint tuberculosis five years ago, but after some hard levels of medications, he became healthy again. Now, almost every night, he has a mild fever, and he has become sensitive to light, and he has horrible headaches. He does not have enough energy, and he looks confused (he cannot concentrate on what he is doing). Once he passed out and it took some minutes untill he was conscious again. What is going on with him?
