Are my headaches and blurred vision indicate brain cancer?

This Premium Q&A, reviewed and published, features a real conversation between an iCliniq user and a physician.

Patient's Query

Hello,

I am experiencing symptoms such as frequent headaches, blurred vision in my eyes, difficulty concentrating, numbness in my left leg, and other symptoms. I am concerned that these symptoms might indicate brain cancer. Can you please advise me on whether it is a serious condition or if it could be attributed to anxiety and stress?

Kindly help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I can understand your concern. I would like to know some details of your problem:

1. Since when have you started to have headaches?

2. In which areas of the head do you feel a headache?

3. What kind of headache is this heaviness or throbbing or stretching or bursting or some other kind? Is it severe or moderate or mild?

4. Does this headache occur persistently or episodically? Was it initially episodic and now turned into a constant headache?

5. If episodically, how long time does one episode of it last (from onset to complete relief without medication)?

6. How frequent are these headache episodes? How many times in a week?

7. Do you feel any vomiting or feeling of vomiting watering from the eye or redness in the eye or nasal congestion during a headache?

8. How is your day-to-day mood?

9. How is your sleep? How is your vision?

10. Have you noticed any triggering factors for this headache?

Please revert back with the answers so that I can help u better.

Thank you.
