What is the treatment for a white tongue?
Hi doctor,
I did not clean my tongue. I brushed my teeth. I have visited the dentist. I am told there is not an issue with oral cancer since I brush my tongue twice daily. I am beginning to worry because, for the past few days or maybe even a week, my tongue has been pink. I do the tongue cleaning around 7am, but by 5pm, it turns white again. Also, I have noticed that the middle of my tongue remains white. I get my teeth cleaned at least 3 times a year. What can I do? Should I be prescribed something? The past few days to weeks are new. I have not asked my regular dentist this question. I am coming to you first. I tried brushing the middle of my tongue with baking soda. It does not work. I did oil pulling. I am now using generic (Walmart) brand mouthwash.

Why do I get recurrent tonsillitis with throat pain even after taking antibiotics?
Hi doctor,
In June, I had a bacterial infection, strep throat which I then took Penicillin for it. I did not finish the course. I stopped probably five days early. Because of this two weeks later out of no where my tonsilitis returned as the bacteria supposedly found the strength to cause pain again as it was building up for that two week period. I was prescribed more Penicillin and this time I completed the whole two week course. This was about a week and a half ago. Yet my tonsils are still quite large, though it does not cause pain, one is larger than the other. I have also noticed that the back of my throat does not look 100% healthy. I notice a tiny bit of discomfort when I swallow but not as bad as when I had full tonsilitis. I went to the GP today and they said it was nothing to worry about but I am not convinced. I was wondering if you had any comment on this and if I might have an underlying tonsil or throat health issue, should I get my tonsils removed in the future. I will attach some photos.

I have sore throat with enlarged tonsils and radiating pain. Please help.
Hi doctor,
Recently, I had a sore throat and tonsil stones. I took antibiotics and it has not gone away. One tonsil is bigger than the other and on the same side my ear hurts and feels like there is fluid in there. No normal doctor will see, but I know 100% it is not COVID-19. I have a newborn and have not left the house over a month. I am currently taking Amoxicillin. Kindly help.
