He is one of the dedicated, full-time spine and pain physicians from Tamil Nadu. He is the director and pain consultant in Synapse Pain and Spine Clinic in Adayar, Chennai. He is also an interventional pain management consultant in Apollo Hospitals, V.S. Hospital, and Apollo Spectra Hospitals, M.R.C Nagar, Chennai. He was a gold medalist during his M.B.B.S. He finished his M.D. in Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine from Kasturba Medical College, M.N.G., Manipal Academy. He went on to do his D.N.B. and Fellowship in Interventional Pain Management (F.I.P.M.) from Aesculap Academy, Germany. He is the first pain physician to clear the exam and qualify as a Fellow in Interventional Pain Practice (F.I.P.P.) (W.I.P., U.S.A.) from south India in 2009.
