Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I have small moles and pimple scars on my face. Can you suggest a cream for achieving clearer skin?
Thank you.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I have reviewed your query and concerns. Based on your descriptions, it appears that you have acne scars along with moles. Acne lesions can leave scars, but these scars often heal with post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH). In individuals with lighter skin, PIH tends to last for a short duration, whereas in those with darker skin, it may persist for a longer period, possibly two to three weeks. However, you can shorten this duration by using depigmenting cream and sunscreen, as well as practicing sun protection.
I suggest you use Adapalene gel 0.1% every night. Additionally, apply a non-comedogenic sunscreen with SPF 50+ in the morning, covering your entire face after your morning skincare routine. Reapply sunscreen once every four hours. Consult your specialist doctor, discuss with him or her, and take the medicines with their consent. It is important to make certain dietary adjustments, such as avoiding oily, spicy foods, junk food, dairy products, and non-vegetarian foods. Drink plenty of water to keep your skin hydrated. Additionally, use a high-quality face wash to clean your face twice daily. Avoid using hair oil, as it can worsen forehead acne. Please provide a picture for a better evaluation of your moles and to determine the most appropriate treatment for your concerns.
I hope this helps. Thank you.
