Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I have acute kidney injury (warning stage). Also, I have had itchy bumps on my hand for the past 4 months that wake me up at night, and the circulation in my feet is not good. Why?
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I understand your concern regarding your creatinine reports and itchy bumps on your skin. Can you please elaborate on your symptoms? Do you have any history of reduced urine output? Swelling in legs? What is your blood pressure? Are there any other alternative over-the-counter medications you are taking? What is your blood sugar level?
Please revert back with answers.
I hope this helps. Thank you.
Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I had an itchy bump on my hands before I started taking the tablet. I have not noticed any less urine output.
Hello,
Welcome back to icliniq.com.
I reviewed your itchy lesions (attachment removed to protect the patient's identity). This seems to be urticarial rash, which is an allergic reaction to some allergen. It could be anything; you might have come in contact with some plant, chemical, pet, etc. Regarding your kidneys, they are completely fine. Your GFR is normal. Your bumps are not related to your kidneys. You may go for a routine urine test to look for blood and protein levels in your urine. For an itchy rash, you may take the tablet Fexofenadine 180 mg at night and apply calamine lotion on your skin for a soothing effect. Drink a good amount of water. Consume a lot of fruits and vegetables every day.
I hope this helps. Thank you.
