Hello doctor,

I am 34 years old and have had allergic rhinitis almost year-round. I wake up congested, sneeze all morning, and at night, my head feels heavy. I use Cetirizine and a steroid nasal spray, but I still feel blocked. An allergy test showed that I am allergic to dust mites and grass.

Although I am cleaning excessively, no improvement occurs since poor quality of sleep has made me irritable and tired while working.

What daily routine helps to manage symptoms of allergic rhinitis for the age group of 34 years?
Did I take the wrong medication or miss something else?
Can I live with that condition forever, or does it really depend on my daily routine?
