Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I am 22 years old with a weight of 191.8 pounds and a height of 170 cm. I took Armodafinil for three days to reduce sleepiness and fatigue caused by Cipralex and Aripiprazole. I took Armodafinil 100 mg on the first day, 100 mg on the second day, and 150 mg on the third day. Now, I have a headache and it does not make me feel active and alert. Does Armodafinil take time to work effectively? Can you suggest it to me, please?
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I understand your concern.
I am expecting that you are taking Armodafinil under the guidance of your psychiatrist because it is highly addictive. You may have a headache due to Armodafinil. It starts its effects immediately, but sometimes, it may take three to five days. If it is not helping then ask your doctor to give you something else for it. If you feel fatigued and sleepy then ask your doctor to adjust the dose of your Cipralex (Escitalopram) and Aripiprazole. I suggest you get the following investigations. I hope this information helps you.
Thank you.
