Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I have constant bad breath, especially due to tonsil stones. I brush well and floss. I appreciate any help.

Thank you.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

  1. I suggest you get full mouth deep scaling done and use fluoridated mouthwash for 15 days. Kindly stop using mouthwash after 15 days.
  2. Get clove oil from the nearby grocery store and habitually massage teeth and gums for three to four minutes with clove oil just before sleeping.
  3. Mouth rinse with warm water and salt after every meal.
  4. Avoid sticky or smelly food and increase water intake.
  5. Repeat scaling after every three months, at least for a year.
  6. Change your toothbrush and toothpaste after every three months and use fluoridated toothpaste. Use a soft bristles toothbrush and brush in circular patterns.
  7. Revert me after the first scaling to update about any changes you feel.

Has any doctor already told you about tonsil stones being the reason?

Then I would suggest you go for its removal as well because if it is there, it would not go on its own and is not there for any good, so better get them removed.

I hope my answer was helpful to you.

Do revert and follow up after doing the steps mentioned above.

Thank you.
