Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
Does bloating run in the family? I do not know. I am having symptoms and am heavily bloated. I do not have gallstones. I have been pooping normally. Nothing has been normal for the last two months. I am more concerned about the bloating. I have to wait for some time to see my doctor.
Kindly help.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I read your query and can understand your concern.
I am very sorry about your medical condition, and I am glad that you are paying attention to changes in your body's system. But do not worry. I am here to take care of you.
Regarding your symptoms, I believe you have developed abdominal gas, which may be caused by gastritis that seems to be asymptomatic, as this inflamed stomach is associated with gas formation.
Have you taken any treatment for abdominal pain, constipation, or difficulty in opening your bowel?
I suggest you to do the following:
Upper gastrointestinal (GI) endoscopy to rule out peptic ulcer disease, as this may aggravate bloating.
I advise you to do the following:
Syrup Gaviscon (antacid) 20 ml to be taken orally thrice a day for two weeks.
Kindly consult a specialist doctor, talk with them, and take proper guidance.
I hope this helps.
Thank you.
