When the milk duct under the nipple becomes clogged with fluid, the ducts can become broader and thicker. It is a non-cancerous condition, and there is no risk of developing breast cancer. The symptoms are breast tenderness, redness, green or black colored discharge, and inverted nipple. It is treated by taking antibiotics, painkillers, and surgery.
