Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I can understand your concern.

Thank you for sharing your health concerns with us. You have been prescribed Cilacar (Cilnidipine and Telmisartan) for hypertension if your home blood pressure is more than 130/90 mm Hg. The dose should be taken in the morning, and the starting dose is 5 mg. The dose can be increased to 10 mg if your blood pressure is still not controlled at 5 mg.

Please remember that lifestyle changes are very important; without lifestyle changes, blood pressure medication might not be as effective as expected. Lifestyle modifications include weight loss, a daily walk or exercise, and salt reduction.

Avoid precooked food, junk food, and fast food, as they contain high amounts of salt. Incorporate a salt substitute into your diet. Long-term uncontrolled blood pressure may affect heart health, cause vision problems, or lead to neurological or kidney issues; hence, it is essential to control your blood pressure.

Please do not hesitate to contact me if you need to know anything else, and I would be happy to answer.

I hope this information is helpful to you.

Thanks.
