Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I am a bachelor and want to know about sex. Does size matter in sex, and are masturbation timing and intimate sex timing the same?
Kindly advise.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq. com.
I have read your query and am sorry for the discomfort.
Penis size is one of the most common concerns of men, but in reality, size is usually far less important for sexual satisfaction than most people think. Most of the nerve endings that provide sexual pleasure in females are located in the outer part of the vagina and the clitoral area.
So, communication, foreplay, emotional connection, arousal, quality of erection, and sexual confidence tend to matter a lot more than penis size alone. In the vast majority of couples, a penis of normal size is sufficient for satisfactory sexual intercourse. Conditions like body dysmorphic disorder (BDD) can sometimes result in over-worrying about size, even if the appearance is normal.
The timing is often not the same in masturbation as opposed to intercourse. During real sex, many men ejaculate quicker due to higher arousal, emotional intimacy, physical sensations, anxiety, or performance pressure.
Some may last longer in intercourse than masturbation, depending on their habits and patterns of stimulation. So, the timing of masturbation isn’t a good predictor of how long a person might last during partnered sex. Sexual experience, relaxation, confidence, and technique also play a big role in timing.
I hope this is clear, and if you have any questions at any time, please feel free to ask.
Thank you.
Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
My erection size 3.5 inch.
Kindly help.
Hello,
Welcome back to icliniq. com.
I have read your query and am sorry for the discomfort.
In clinical practice, hardness of the erection, maintenance of the erection, sexual confidence, foreplay, and intimacy of the sexual experience usually have much greater impact on sexual satisfaction than length alone.
If this is your natural size from puberty and you have not recently lost size, it is generally thought of as an anatomical variation and not a disease. But if you also have worries about weak erections, trouble with penetration, or a reduction in size that you notice compared to the past, those issues would deserve further investigation.
Has this been the size you have always had as an adult, or have you noticed any recent changes in the length of your penis or the quality of your erections?
I hope this is clear, and if you have any questions at any time, please feel free to ask.
Thank you.
