Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

Yesterday, a chest X-ray of my mother revealed significant interstitial marks in the middle and lower zones. There are symptoms of bronchitic changes, and the rest of the lung fields appear hyperinflated. Please help.

Thank you.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I have read the query, and I can understand your concern.

I am very sorry about your medical condition. Do not worry. I am here to take care of you. Regarding your X-ray result, I propose you have developed acute bronchitis. Any history of smoking, alcohol, or exposure to the chemical industry? Are you asthmatic or have any allergic history? I suggest the following medication:

  1. Tablet Albuterol 4 mg taken orally once daily.

  2. Tablet Prednisone 4 mg taken orally twice daily.

  3. Tablet Metronidazole 400 mg is taken orally thrice daily.

  4. Capsule Co-Amoxiclav (Amoxicillin and clavulanic acid) 625 mg taken orally twice daily.

  5. Tablet Ketoconazole 200 mg taken orally once daily.

Consult a specialist doctor, talk to them, and then take the medication. If your symptoms persist, schedule an appointment for a follow-up consultation.

I hope this will help you.

Thank you.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
