Burkitt's lymphoma is an uncommon but fast-growing B- cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma. It is a cancer that affects the lymphatic system resulting in the production of abnormal B lymphocytes. It is more prevalent in males, with children more commonly affected than adults. There are three types of Burkitt's lymphoma, sporadic type ( the most common type and is linked to Epstein-Barr virus), endemic type (common among African children), and immunodeficiency-related seen in immunocompromised persons.
