X-rays cannot exactly give the duration of treatment required as it is always based on clinical examination. The treating doctor is the final authority to decide on treatment based on clinical evaluation and examination. You can get an MRI scan done if you need to prove the exact findings or if you feel the clinical findings do not match the X-rays.
