Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
My mother's cervical cancer was detected in a Pap (Papanicolaou) smear test and biopsy, so the doctor removed her uterus but retained her ovaries. I do not know why she feels tired and has stomach pain three years after the surgery. We took her to the hospital, and the doctor said she had stage 3 cancer that had spread to the abdomen.
How can we help her? Will my mother survive after the cancer treatment?
Please help.
Thank you.
