Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

My son is 1 year and 10 months old. He started to walk now by holding furniture. He flaps his hands a lot with his legs and watches cartoon rhymes. Also, his mood is upset many times.

Please help me.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

It is wonderful that your son has started to walk while holding onto furniture. Walking is an important milestone in a child's development. Flapping hands and legs at this age can be a normal part of a child's movement exploration and self-expression. It is a way for them to discover their body and explore their surroundings. Watching cartoon rhymes is a common activity for children of this age. Many children enjoy watching videos with catchy tunes and colorful animations. It can be a source of entertainment and a way for them to learn basic concepts such as colors, numbers, and letters. As for your son's mood swings, it is important to remember that children at this age are still developing their emotional regulation skills. They may experience frustration or upset more easily as they are learning to communicate their needs and desires. Providing a nurturing and supportive environment can help your son navigate his emotions. However, if you have concerns about your son's development or behavior, it is always a good idea to consult with a pediatrician or child development specialist. They can provide a more thorough assessment and offer guidance tailored to your son's specific needs.

Hope I helped you, if any concerns reach out to me at icliniq.com.

Thanks and regards.
