I am a 65-year-old female. I had a cold and took Amoxicillin seven days ago. I still have a cold. My complete blood count is normal except for the mean platelet volume.

If you have taken Amoxicillin for seven days, then I suggest you not take it anymore. For the common cold, I would like to start different medications now.
