Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I am experiencing issues with my face. I am noticing breakouts, excessive sweating on my face, and an uneven skin tone.
Kindly advise.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I understand your concern.
Thank you very much for your query at iCliniq and for sharing the picture for better assessment; I appreciate that. Based on your history and the attached picture, you have comedonal acne and some pigmentation, both of which are very treatable. I will guide you step by step with an effective routine using products that are easily available.
Use a gentle, non-foaming cleanser, followed by a non-comedogenic moisturizer that helps control oil. I would suggest starting with adapalene gel 0.1 percent. It helps control both acne and excessive sweating on the face. Use a pea-sized amount for the entire face, not only on active pimples. Do not exceed more than a pea-sized amount. If your skin feels dry, you may apply a moisturizer afterwards. Leave it on overnight and avoid applying it near the under-eye area.
Once your acne is controlled (after three to four weeks), you can add magnesium ascorbyl phosphate (MAP) cream at 5 percent to 10 percent. Use it in the morning after your moisturizer and before sunscreen. With consistent skin care and good sun protection, you will see visible improvement.
I hope you are satisfied with my answer. For further queries, you can consult me at iCliniq.
Thank you.
