Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I have had cough and chest infections for a year on and off. I took antibiotics but the cough is persistent. Please help.

Thank you.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I can understand your concern. I have gone through the reports you have attached. Your CT (computed tomography) scan is suggestive of TB (tuberculosis) which is a kind of infection.

Was any sputum test for TB done? Have you taken any treatment for TB?

Please reply to me with answers to the above-asked questions.

Thank you.

Patient's Query

Thank you doctor for the quick response.

TB test was done and no sputum was collected. Also, I wanted to understand if multiple centrilobular nodules could indicate malignancy by any chance.

Thank you.

Hello,

Thanks for your follow-up question on icliniq.com.

No, this does not indicate malignancy. This indicates TB is more likely.

I hope this helps you.

Thank you.

Regards.
