My COVID-19 test remains positive after treatment and 14 days of quarantine. Why?

I tested COVID-19 positive, and was in the hospital for 11 days. Post-discharge, I was in home quarantine for 14 days. Yesterday, I went for a retest to private hospital. Today, I got a report test COVID-19 positive, why? What I have to do now?

I can understand your concern. According to your statement, you have recently done to repeat the COVID-19 test and it has become positive. You have spent seven to eight days on the hospital quarantine and another 14 days on home quarantine. Yesterday's repeat COVID-19 test became positive again.

American medical researchers have recently explained that the COVID-19 virus can stay in an infected person for three months. At this time, the COVID-19-infected person may become positive in the retest. But the infected person is not able to spread the infection to other people after 14 days. So, according to their theories, you can lead a normal lifestyle while performing daily activities.

The immune response of an individual is different from that of other person for that reason, some COVID-19 infected persons may become negative within seven to nine days. Some other COVID-19-infected persons need 14 days or more, even 28 days.

Within 14 to 28 days, the antibody may develop in person of COVID-19 infection, so this antibody test will become positive, which means infected person's body is able to produce immunity against the COVID-19 virus.

You can spend another seven days on home quarantine and then do repeat the test.
