Patient's Query
Hi doctor,
Is it normal for my penis to curve to the right? I mean, does everyone have some curvature in their penis, or is mine abnormal? Is my penis normal?
Please guide.
Hi,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I read your query and understand your concern.
I checked your picture (attachment removed to protect the patient's identity), and it looks normal. There is no need to worry; it is a typical bend.
However, if you experience pain during sex, that is something to take seriously. Pain during intercourse can be a sign of Peyronie's disease, which is caused by a scar within the penile tissue.
To diagnose this condition, a Doppler scan may be needed. If you do have pain during sex, you can take a tablet containing Zerodol-P (Aceclofenac and Paracetamol) as a temporary solution.
If the pain persists for several weeks or if the curvature seems to be increasing, I recommend seeing a urologist or a sexual medicine specialist.
They can discuss possible treatment options, which may include medications, collagenase injections, or corrective procedures, depending on the severity and stage of your condition.
Remember, while tablet Zerodol-P can help relieve pain and inflammation for a few days, it does not address the underlying issue or correct the bend. Always follow medical advice when taking any medication.
I hope this information is helpful.
Please let me know if you have any further questions, and I would be happy to assist you.
Thank you.
Patient's Query
Hi doctor,
Thank you for your response.
I have never had sex with anyone to date, and I do not experience any pain during an erection. I would like to know if the curve of my penis is normal. However, I do notice that my foreskin is slightly tight; I have to pull it down to see the upper area properly.
Please guide.
Hi,
Welcome back to icliniq.com.
The penis has a normal curve, and your mild foreskin tightness is not a concern. If you experience discomfort, the only option is surgery. After you have sex, if you still feel discomfort, we can plan the next steps accordingly.
I hope this information is helpful.
Please let me know if you have any further questions, and I would be happy to assist you.
Thank you.
