Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

Even though I brush twice daily, I have a few little cavities, and several of my teeth have gone yellow, as if from tartar or something. I wanted to know how to keep these markings and cavities at bay. Kindly help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I read your query and can understand your concern.

Kindly get scaling done more often for at least one year, every four months. There are different human beings, so hormones, food habits, acid production, and acid refluxes differ in every being, so do not get disheartened. Just continue maintaining good oral hygiene habits. First of all, scaling, use fluoridated mouthwash for 15 days. Remember to rinse your mouth well with plain water after every meal. For tooth brushing, kindly apply toothpaste on your teeth with a fingertip and massage well with fingers for three minutes, then brush with soft bristles toothbrush in a circular motion and then rinse off. Kindly change your toothpaste and toothbrush every four months and use a bristles toothbrush.

I hope this helps.

Thank you and take care.

Regards.
