How to deal with fear of failure and anxiety effectively?

This Premium Q&A, reviewed and published, features a real conversation between an iCliniq user and a physician.

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am terrified of everything because of my previous life. I have no idea what is going on in my life. My confidence is gone. I have an intense fear of failing. As a student in my previous life, I wanted to be an actor. I took this so seriously that I performed exercise and worked out every day.

I paid attention to diet, but soon, I thought I did not have a perfect body and started going depressed, and today, I have anxiety and fear.

Kindly help.

Thank you.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I read your query and can understand your concern.

First, tough times occasionally arise in life, but they eventually pass. You will be good; your life is valuable. A good diagnosis necessitates a thorough evaluation by a psychiatrist, which you must contact in person so that therapy can be provided in accordance with, aside from a few things that can be helpful. Every day, write down all your thoughts, even your concerns and unreasonable ones.

Later, when you reflect, try to change those thoughts by applying reasoning. Daily relaxation methods, such as deep breathing, are recommended. You can unwind and concentrate with their aid. Spend time with your loved ones or close pals. A field sport or aerobic exercise can be beneficial. Always remember there is a solution to every issue; you just need to attempt, and assistance is there.

I hope this helps.

Please revert in case of further queries.

Thank you.
