Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I am feeling constantly fatigued, lacking energy and motivation, and often drowsy. I also suffer from frequent headaches and a mental fog that overwhelms me with anxiety, fear, and sometimes paranoia. I get fixated on certain thoughts for too long, struggle with concentration, and have repetitive, irrational thoughts. My mind often feels empty, and I feel confused, lost, and directionless. I do not have clear desires, ambitions, or goals, and it seems like I have lost the ability to think clearly or learn new things. I am seeking advice on how to move forward.
Please help.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I went through your query and can understand your concern.
Based on your symptoms and history, it seems you are experiencing severe anxiety and depression. It is important to consult a psychiatrist for a detailed assessment and mental status examination. Treatment, especially with SSRIs (selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors), may be recommended.
Additionally, incorporating daily physical exercise for at least 45 minutes could be beneficial. Avoid smoking and alcohol if applicable. Starting psychological therapy, particularly cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), will help you better understand and manage your condition.
I hope this helps.
Thank you.
