I am really worried about my 4-month-old baby. She has been crying nonstop for the past two days, pulling at her ears, and has a high fever. She has never been this upset before, so I am quite concerned.

Could this be an ear infection, or is there a possibility of something more serious, like a pneumococcal infection?
She has also been refusing to drink milk, which is adding to my concern. Do babies this young receive vaccines for pneumococcal infections?
