From the picture, it seems like you are having an inflamed pinguecula. It is a widespread non-malignant condition and a deposition of protein in subconjunctival space, but some people think it is an overgrowth of the conjunctiva. It is caused by a combination of dry eyes and exposure to wind, dust, and ultraviolet (UV) light from the sun. Use artificial tears thrice daily. Use (consult with a specialist doctor, talk with him or her, and take medicine with their consent) Fluorometholone containing eyedrops for ten days, twice daily, followed by once daily for five to seven days. Better to use sunglasses while going out and goggles if you are involved in water sports. Thank you.
