Can Novella-1 prevent pregnancy after possible exposure?

Hello doctor,

I am 18 years old. When I was with my boyfriend, he got pre cum on his fingers and then fingered me shortly after without realizing. After we did it, and we realised about two hours or so later, I took the Novella-1 tablet.

I am also ovulating, and it is 14 days till my period. My period app is saying my fertility is high. I am super worried since I might get pregnant.

Since I took the Novella-1 tablet straight after, would that reduce my chances? Please give me some advice since I am very stressed about this.

It is still possible to get pregnant from pre-cum or pre-ejaculate because pre-cum may also contain sperm, especially during ovulation.

The pharmacy information for Novella-1 states that it is "not effective" as a conventional regular method of contraception. Also, it states that emergency contraception does not prevent a pregnancy in every instance.
