Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I just yawned and felt a sharp pain under my left rib cage. The pain is from the bottom of my sternum to the middle of my left rib cage. It is a sharp pain and does not radiate. Should I be concerned? Go to the hospital? What to do?

Please help.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I have gone through your query and can understand your health concern.

Your pain could be due to gastritis. You can take some antacid syrup two teaspoons thrice daily. I also suggest you get an ultrasound of the abdomen, serum amylase, and lipase done as many other diseases also present like this.

Kindly consult a specialist, talk with them, and take medicines with their consent.

Hope it helps.

Thanks and regards.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
