Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

Kindly have a look on my mother's report regarding glomus jugulare and advise.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com. This is a slow-growing benign noncancerous tumor of the base of the skull extending to the neck with a close relationship to the important vein, artery, and nerves of the brain. The scan reports indicate that this is a fairly large tumor and this will require a team of neurosurgeon and head-neck surgeon (ENT surgeon) for the surgery. She needs to be evaluated for control of blood pressure (BP) and diabetes before surgery can be planned. Wishing her a speedy recovery.
