Glucose Challenge Test

The glucose challenge test is a one-hour test and is mainly suggested in pregnant women between their 24th and 28th weeks to look for gestational diabetes. In this test, they will be asked to drink a sweet drink and wait for one hour. After an hour, their blood glucose levels are tested. If abnormal values are detected, they are further subjected to an oral glucose tolerance test.
