Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I am really scared. I am a 37-year-old male and lately, I have been experiencing noticeable hair loss that seems to get worse by the day. I can see my scalp more clearly, and it is terrifying. I have read about pattern hair loss, and I am worried that this might be what is happening to me. Is there anything you can do to help? This is affecting my confidence, and I need to know what options are available to address this issue. Please, tell me there is something we can do to stop or reverse this hair loss. Kindly help.
Thank you.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I read your query and can understand your concern.
Pattern hair loss, also known as androgenetic alopecia, is a common condition that affects many men as they age. It is characterized by a gradual thinning of hair and a receding hairline, leading to more noticeable scalp visibility over time. This type of hair loss is influenced by genetics and hormones. You must consult with a dermatologist to address this concern.
Certain medications can help with further loss. Additionally, hair transplant surgery can be an effective solution. Low-level laser therapy (LLLT) uses laser devices to stimulate hair growth,
Certain lifestyle adjustments such as reducing stress, eating a balanced diet, and avoiding harsh hair treatments can aid in managing hair loss. Get investigated to rule out any medical conditions and treat them accordingly and check vitals.
I hope I have answered your question.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards.
