Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I am 19 years old and my height is 5'6 and weighs 311 lbs. I have weird head feelings as I feel fuzzy and tight like I am about to have a seizure with brain fog. I get dizzy sometimes. I do not have a history of seizures and I am anxious because I get headaches often that are sharp and I get a shocking feeling when I try to sleep. Could it be a brain tumor? or Do I have a seizure and I do not even know it? I hate feeling like this every day and not knowing what is wrong. Also, I am going through a stressful time right now. But my head just does not feel right. It is hard to concentrate because of it. I have got my blood tests done that showed low iron and vitamin D levels and I am taking iron supplements. Kindly give your suggestions.
Thank you.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I have read your query and understand your concern. I am not sure whether you have seen a doctor or not but none of the symptoms mentioned above is pathognomonic of brain tumors. However, brain tumors rarely present with typical symptoms and if you have these symptoms for some time it is better to get evaluated. The most important thing to diagnose brain tumors is MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) brain and complete neurological examination. I may not be able to conduct a neurological examination online but can have a proper diagnosis with the use of an MRI scan. So I suggest you get an MRI scan done and report back to me. I hope you find this helpful.
Thank you.
