Patient's Query
Hi doctor,
I am a 30-year-old male. I do not smoke or drink alcohol. I am currently not taking any medication. This year I have started to suffer from a brief headache that lasts only a few seconds at a time. It is more of a mild discomfort. They happen maybe three times a day, or sometimes they do not happen for a day. Sometimes moving my head makes it happen, mostly on my left side. Mostly, on the top of my head, the temple, and my forehead. I have noticed the base of my skull aches at times. I am obese and have really poor posture. I spend 10 hours a day sitting down. Sneezing, coughing, straining, or anything like that does not worsen it. I sleep well and never wake up with any pain. No weakness or change in mental state, no seizures or anything of that nature. I feel completely normal in myself. The pains come on at random and last only a few seconds at a time, and I had best describe it as sharp pain. I do always sleep on my left side. My left shoulder and left side of my neck hurt sometimes too. It is not got worse. I had say it is improved somewhat. I do suffer from health anxiety, and I am in a constant state of stress and worry. I do not drink enough water either. Thank you for any insight.

Get your vitamin B12 and D3 levels checked, as deficiency of these can also cause similar symptoms. If there is a deficiency, you will need supplements. Are there any stressors in your life, a stressful lifestyle, or anxiety?
Please reply to my answers to the above questions so I can guide you better.
Thank you.
