Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I have been unwell for a few days now. I have also started having headaches. The day before that, my headache had been triggering sharp pains on the right side of my head. I have also experienced a lot of brain fog, which makes my brain feel strange and muddled. I also had trouble using the restroom this morning. It has been happening for the past four days and is becoming worse.
Kindly help.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
According to your symptoms, you may have a migraine. Migraines cause headaches and nausea. There is usually a trigger element in migraines that you should identify, such as when you consume a specific meal, or it might be a fragrance or noise, and you should avoid this triggering component. You can take migraine tablets anytime when you have a headache, undertake daily exercise or brisk walking for at least 20 to 30 minutes, and meditate. Maintain hydration by drinking at least 3 liters of water every day, as dehydration is one of the causes of headaches. Avoid hot and greasy foods. Consume more green leafy vegetables and fruits.
I hope this helps.
Thank you.
Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
My head does not pain while I am nauseous hence I do not get a migraine. I occasionally have mild headaches.
Please help.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
This might be the beginning of a migraine. The degree of headaches varies. However, because you said that the headache is only mild and that nausea is the main issue, we will not go to the migraine right now. There are various reasons for nausea, but the most common is acidity. It might also be a particular smell (take attention to whether you are wearing any new perfume or if anybody else around you is) that is making you feel uncomfortable. So, as previously said, avoid eating anything hot or oily for at least a few days. Take a tablet of Pan D (Pantoprazole) tablet twice a day before meals for three to five days. Before anything else, have some dry toast or biscuits first thing in the morning. Keep a piece of ginger in your mouth as you sleep. (This is a home cure for nausea).
Thank you
