How to treat constant headaches in a 24-year-old?

This Premium Q&A, reviewed and published, features a real conversation between an iCliniq user and a physician.

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I am a 24-year-old and suffering from a headache. I always feel pain in my head and feel tired all the time.

Kindly help.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Kindly mention any positive history of hypertension or diabetes if present.

It is also important to know whether your headache is unilateral or bilateral and whether it is dull aching pain, or throbbing.

You must check your blood sugar and blood pressure value for a primary workup.

Headaches sometimes can be due to tension headaches induced by stress or constant work on a computer.

As tiredness history is also present, investigate with serum calcium estimation, complete blood count, serum hydroxyvitamin D, serum TSH (thyroid stimulating hormone) for a primary workup.

You can revert with reports.

I hope I have answered your question.

Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards.
