Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I have been suffering from a chronic vocal cord disorder where I am not able to speak certain words and numbers clearly. My voice is not clear. What to do? Please help.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I went through your query and understood your concern. One important cause of voice hoarseness is vocal abuse which occurs when people have to use their voice too much like professional singers, teachers, radio jockeys, etc. This is due to the development of vocal nodules, which should be taken care of by surgery. However, it is important to rule out other causes. I have a few questions. 1. Do you have any throat pain? 2. Do you suffer difficulty eating or breathlessness? Kindly update us with the answers. I hope this has helped you. Thanks and regards.
