Hi,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

It is a foot dermatosis with hyperpigmentation. So, I advise you to use Kojic (Kojic Acid) soap for a bath for two months. Tablet Limcee (Vitamin C) 500 mg once a day after breakfast for 30 days.

Apply moisturizing lotion three to four times daily for one month. Wear non-occlusive or non-tight comfortable footwear. Avoid contact with known allergens, irritants, or risk factors. Maintain proper foot hygiene.

Avoid prolonged standing or pressure. Apply Tenovate cream (steroid cream) at night for two weeks. Phototherapy (narrow band UVB) is another option. Advanced fluorescence technology has shown favorable results.

Also, answer the following questions.

  1. What percentage of Thioglycolic acid peeling is done?
  2. How many times a week were sessions done for peeling?
  3. Do you have winter aggravation?
  4. Is the hormonal assay done?
  5. Do you have thyroid issues?

I hope this helps you.

Thank you.

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

Thank you for your reply. Do you think I have a deficiency? I have done peeling like glycolic, malic even TCA peel in the past, but it goes back darker. I have also used a session on Plasma rich platelet, peeling with Glutathione, Vitamin C, Mandelic acid or Salicylic acid. But none of them worked. What is this, and how is it done? Phototherapy (narrow band UVB) is another option. Advanced fluorescence technology has shown favorable results. Do you have winter aggravation? No. Is the hormonal assay done? No, I notice my feet are clear when I am pregnant, and my skin glows too. After giving birth, it became darker. Any thyroid issues? I do not think so. I am healthy. History of occupation? I am an HR officer and currently working from home.

Hi,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

It is a pigmented dermatosis (foot eczema with hyperpigmentation). It has a benign, chronic, relapsing, and remitting course. Spontaneous remission may also occur. Frequently moisturize your skin and keep it hydrated. Apply moisturizing lotion or brightening cream twice a day for one month.

Apply Kojic cream at night for one month. Use Tenovate cream in the evening for two weeks. Use Kojic soap for a bath for two months. A narrow band UVB (ultraviolet B) chamber is available in the dermatology department. UVB (ultraviolet B) rays (low wavelength) will be used in this phototherapy. A 595 nm laser is also another option.

Advanced fluorescence technology (a method of delivering an intense beam of fluorescence light) has shown favorable results. Eat food rich in vitamin A, vitamin C, and antioxidants. Eat fresh fruits and green veggies. Stay hydrated and avoid stress. Drink seven to eight glasses of water daily. Eat papaya, berries, watermelon, muskmelon, carrots, oranges, nuts (walnuts), almonds, spinach, and broccoli. Follow up after two months.

I hope this helps you.

Thank you.
