Patient's Query
Hello doctor
My husband is 33 years old. We have been trying for a kid for two years. I completed three Clomid cycles two years ago; ovulation occurred, but there was no conception. Then, I tried Letrozole a year ago, pregnant but had an abortion due to a molar pregnancy, and the doctor performed a dilatation and Curettage to clear the uterus.
After six months, we tried clomid again, and ovulation occurred, but no conception. The husband's sperm was 42 percent normal and 58 percent aberrant in morphology; the doctor indicated the sperm report was fine. Could you please recommend what would be best for us right now?
Kindly help.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I read your query and understood your concern.
First, take Drospirenone Ethinyl Estradiol once a day for 28 days. Begin on the first day of your period. Then, while on the last four tablets, a period will occur. Continue this for three months.
As the endometrium is sometimes removed during dilatation and curettage, it can cause iatrogenic infertility. Although this is a combined oral contraceptive pill, it helps in the formation of the endometrium.
Then, after three months, begin Fertyl 100 mg on day two of the menstrual cycle for five days, followed by tablet Evadiole (Estradiol) 2 mg daily for 30 days, and tablet Duphastone (Dydrogesterone) starting on day 12 of the cycle.
I hope that this answers your query.
Kindly follow up if you have more doubts.
Thank you.
