Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I have been experiencing vaginal bleeding for a few months. A vaginal ultrasound was performed, and this is what they found: A hypoechoic 0.86-inch mass in the fundal portion of the endometrial canal, which may be benign, such as a submucosal fibroid. However, neoplasm remains a concern.
They also prescribed me Norethindrone. I have a biopsy and hysterectomy scheduled for next month. Is that too long to wait? I have been told that at my age (51), this can happen. I have always had fibroids.
Please help.
