Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I am 24 years old, and my last period was two months back. My cycle length varies from 30, 31, or 32 days. I bleed for only two days. On the fifth day of the cycle, I had sexual contact with my partner. We had only done fingering. I am not sure whether precum is there or not. Recently, I found cervical mucus, and then after 15 days, I got my period. In the beginning, it was brown; then, it turned to red blood with clots. The bleeding decreased gradually with back pain. I am very tense about seeing this. I have anxiety about whether I am pregnant. I am stressed about thinking that it is implantation bleeding and I am pregnant. This tension causes gas formation and nausea.
Please help.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I read your query and understand your concern.
I am deeply concerned about your worries. Let me tell you that for pregnancy to take place, there should be intercourse between men and women. At least there should be penetration of the penis in the vagina, then there is a risk of pregnancy. However, if the penetration of the penis did not happen and it is only fingering, then I assure you there is no chance of pregnancy at all. Soon after that, if you had a menstrual cycle, that means no fertilization has taken place. There is a difference between implantation and menstrual bleeding, implantation, color, brown, dark brown, or pinkish light flow or spotting. If the bleeding you had was bright or red in color and associated with clots, then it is menstrual bleeding; it can never be implantation bleeding.
Although there is no possibility of getting pregnant by fingering, the only way that you can get pregnant is the penetration of the penis into the vagina should take place; if you are sure that did not happen, then you do not have to worry about it.
You do not have to worry about pregnancy. I assure you there is no chance of getting pregnant, so relax and carry on with your daily life. If you are going to have unprotected intercourse, then use a tablet or one pill once after the intercourse for three days.
I hope I satisfied you. If you have any queries you can contact me at any time. I am here to help you.
Thank you.
Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
Thank you for your response.
Why do I always feel back pain and always fatigued and nauseous?
My menstrual cycle usually comes in 30 days, but this month, it came early in 28 days; that was my first problem. Then, the bleeding is very light. Only blood comes when urinating. So when I searched for it on the internet, it said it was implantation bleeding. Then, on the fifth day, I did not use my pads. I had back pain, and when I urinated, I found a brown or black-colored thread-like thing in my vagina; these are all my concerns.
I am very tense about this, and whenever I think I have gas and nausea, I can not eat anything happily. These are my problems.
Please help.
Hello,
Welcome back to icliniq.com.
This is typically a menstrual bleed; do not search on the internet for anything because it will confuse you more for the back pain and nausea. Maybe it can be due to premenstrual syndrome, which happens during menses in some females. I will write some medications for you. Do not worry. There are no signs of pregnancy; if you get pregnant, the first sign is the absence of menstrual cycles.
I recommend taking the following medications for three days:
Tablet Naproxen 500 mg twice daily for three days.
Tablet Motilium 10 mg twice daily for three days.
You will become fine after taking these medications.
I hope this helps.
Thank you.
