Patient's Query
Hi doctor,
I had right upper quadrant pain, so I went to the doctor for an ultrasound and BW. All came back normal except for a small cyst on the liver and two small polyps on the gallbladder, which I was told were not causing the pain. It went away, and now it is back. But I am also constipated, have gas, and have a feeling of almost heartburn briefly.
Please, help me.
Hi,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I understand your concern.
It sounds like you have been experiencing a variety of symptoms, including stomach pain, constipation, gas, and a feeling of heartburn. However, the small cyst on your liver and the small polyps on your gallbladder discovered on your ultrasound and blood work are likely not the cause of your current symptoms.
Constipation and gas are common digestive symptoms that can cause stomach pain. Heartburn is a symptom of acid reflux, which occurs when stomach acid flows back into the esophagus.
If your symptoms persist, it is important to see your healthcare provider for further evaluation. They may want to perform additional tests, such as endoscopy or stool analysis, to determine the cause of your symptoms.
In the meantime, you can try some home remedies such as drinking plenty of water, eating a diet high in fiber, and engaging in regular physical activity to help alleviate your symptoms. Over-the-counter medications such as antacids or laxatives may also provide some relief.
I hope this information will help.
Thank you.
