Meibomitis is the inflammation of the oil glands present on the eyelids. Itching, burning, red eyes, swollen eyelids, etc., are some of the symptoms seen. The treatment includes eyelid hygiene, warm compresses, artificial tears, antibiotic and anti-inflammatory eye drops.
