Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I am a 16-year-old girl. I have black moles on my face. I wanted to get rid of it with natural remedies and do not want any scars behind it. So, please suggest any painless method to get rid of it.
Please help.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I have read your query and understood your concern.
It seems you are having a mole or melanocytic nevus. They are considered benign melanomas and nothing actively needs to be done for them. If the mole shows a sudden increase in size, differential pigmentation, bleeding, irregular borders, etc., then you may go for a skin biopsy.
If you want to get it removed for purely cosmetic reasons, then you may opt for shave excision under local anesthesia by a dermatologist, TCA (trichloroacetic acid) cautery, radiofrequency cautery, or laser treatment. All these are painless procedures. I suggest you do not go for any natural remedies otherwise you may develop big scars.
Hope this helps.
Thanks and regards.
