Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
Meningitis, especially if severe, can lead to complications that affect motor skills and speech development, but two-year two-year-old child should be able to walk, it is a delayed milestone. I recommend tests such as brain imaging or genetic screening to understand the underlying causes. Early intervention therapies, such as physical therapy, speech therapy, and occupational therapy, can be beneficial in improving her mobility and communication skills. These therapies can aid in her overall development and quality of life. Stay in close contact with healthcare professionals to create a comprehensive treatment plan tailored to her specific needs. Remember, each child's journey is unique, and with proper support and intervention, significant progress can be made over time.
I hope this helps you.
Thank you.
Regards.
