Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am a 30-year-old woman who has been dealing with migraines for the past four years. I have recently heard about using Botox as a treatment. Can you provide information on how Botox is used to manage migraines? What are the specific symptoms of migraines that Botox aims to alleviate? How does Botox work in reducing migraine frequency and intensity? Are there any potential side effects or risks associated with using Botox for migraines? What is the typical treatment schedule, and how long does it take to see results with Botox? Is Botox a long-term solution for migraine management, and how often would I need to undergo treatment? Are there any contraindications or considerations I should be aware of, especially if I am on other medications for migraines?

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com

Thank you for writing, and I understand your concern. Actually, Botox is still on trial and not completely in use for migraine, so I would suggest you avoid it for now and use different medicines like Naproxen for your headache. And such a headache occurs due to computer work only so I would suggest you reduce your work or else check your eyesight sometimes. My vision impairment can lead to headaches as well. If there is anything else please let me know.

I hope this helps you.
