Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I have been grappling with persistent migraines, and despite trying various medications, the pain persists. Considering my history of persisting migraine episodes, could you recommend alternative treatments or perhaps an implant that may provide relief from these debilitating headaches? I read about these implants in an advertisement, wondering if it would help me. I am 38 right now, my periods are a bit erratic, otherwise, I am healthy overall.
Please help.
Thank you.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I understand your concern.
Going for an implant is not only an option but first of all, it should be diagnosed properly. So, I would suggest you do an MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) or CT (computed tomography) scan of your brain, which will help us understand what is going on. Sometimes, these symptoms can be associated with electrolyte imbalance as well, so I would suggest you do a body checkup so we can look for every possible aspect. And then we can prescribe you medicine accordingly.
For now, I would suggest, you take a tablet of Naproxen 500 mg once after a meal whenever you have a headache for five days. Can you please tell me what your blood pressure is? Have you done any tests so far? If yes please send me reports.
I hope this helps.
Kindly follow up if you have more concerns.
Thank you.
