What is the best possible treatment for a muscle spasm?
Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I have been experiencing discomfort in the upper part of my right thigh for the past three to four days. It feels like a pulling sensation on the right side, causing discomfort while walking and sitting. There is also pain in the right side of my thigh, but it improves after walking for a while. Could you please suggest some effective treatments?
Please help.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I went hrough your query.
Based on your symptoms, it seems you might have a muscle spasm, possibly due to low calcium and lactic acid buildup. I recommend the following for one month:
1. Take two tablets of Robaxin (muscle relaxant) 200 mg twice daily.
2. Take two tablets of Calcium 1000 mg once daily.
3. Apply topical 0.1 percent Neurogesic (Diclofenac and Paracetamol) cream twice daily.
4. Incorporate regular exercise as well.
Kindly consult a specialist, talk with them, and take medications with their consent.
I hope this helps.
Thank you.
